True, I just looked it up, I'd been hearing from a 68% figure being tossed around but I can't find it. But apparently the DHS only reports numbers for air and sea entries and not land entries.

They can receive most benefits short of Social security. 60%+ of illegal households make use of these programs. So yes- I think the majority are walking around with SNAP cards. I don't think they're getting checks to go out and buy land rovers, but the fact remains that that's money going to them.
Already addressed this. Illegals contribute positively to our economy and pay money into social security and Medicaid that they will never avail, because its registered to some dead guy. Even if the fence is effective (it won't be), it will literally hurt the economy by working. On top of that they stimulate economic growth because theyre producing and consuming, and some American is profiting off their productivity.
Of course nobody will ever talk about how American business owners exploitatively hiring illegals is the real problem. -

A lot of People of Color (Including Hispanic Americans) have spoken out in favor of the wall. And many or possibly half of Caucasians are against it.
Hispanics are being pushed out of this country with skill-sets and want to work. And Obama did the same. He had a larger number of deporting immigration than Bush did. It's weird no one talks about Obama doing this.
Just being honest here. Obama deported Filipinos and Hispanics and other people out of this country who weren't born here. Like one lady who's kids were born here and never went through the proper channels of immigration herself was deported out back to the Philipine Islands. I remember watching this. I was kind of shock Obama would do this. She was another one of those cancer care nurse specialist. not someone dealing drugs.
And you being Irish, It surprises me you're like this. I mean most Irish I know from Ireland (we have lots in San Francisco that are working out here.. mostly construction) stand with the Mexicans. a lot of them work along side of the Hispanics in construction. They might shit talk each other playfully but they don't like the fact they're being forced back to Mexico when they have nothing to do with gangs or drug running. I can't say all have nothing to do with drugs or gangs, but if one out of 20 is, they all get labeled. but it's just better to legalize all drugs and make it a worthless market than keep the war on drugs continuing on. -

None of this is about people doing jobs - no one involved in this debate genuinely cares about that. It's also not even about crime or drugs.
It's about demographics, race, and voting patterns. -
