Anyway, the real damage is done by legal immigrants. They fuck up, steal and destroy everything whitey likes/built/worked for.
The wall is just a symbol, and I think everyone gets that - no one is genuinely concerned about whitey spending $5 billion of his own money on some wall, much less ecological impact, or even the poor brown people.
If they were they'd say something about the $38 billion America gives to Israel for no good reason every year.

The US (along with most countries) drug policy is absurd and self-defeating, saying the wall will help in that regard is just to drum up support.
Guns, as I understand it, mostly go to Mexico through straw purchases via legal points of entry so a wall would make no direct difference there. Illegal guns get smuggled back, but I believe those numbers are absolutely dwarfed by the number stolen, manufactured or otherwise obtained domestically.

This wall will not happen, the public does not want it. Using smart technology, will be far more effective.
It cracks me up that people think the left do not want any border security. They’re willing to put out the money to modernize our old system and up personnel. More jobs for citizens. A win win! -

i post what i wanted to post not for your benefit, but for the benefits of others who wanted to read, know, and most importantly,

You understand that illegals pay sales taxes, gas taxes (if they have a car), property taxes that are built into whatever their living situation is, and aren't able to claim deductions, right? They'll also use expired SSNs or ITpID to sign up for jobs and generate payroll taxes, but (obviously) they can't claim those social security benefits.
The wall will also need to be maintained and staffed. It will be a constant drain on our economy while harming it and solving zero problems, purely because you are upset by brownies.

Illegal immigrants are net positive contributors to our tax base. They also have less than 1% rate of welfare use. So no, their welfare burden is literally almost totally negligible.

Who gives a fuck about sympathy or rights? Immigrants (including illegals) are a major net positive to the economy, this is not a debated fact in economics. The create economic growth and increase our tax base, regardless of the fact that you are unaware of it.

And… It sounds like they are just supplying demand in the US. That's really what the problem is.

1) In 2014, 42% were visa overstays. I can't find more current numbers, but I'd wager it's still not a "vast majority"
2) the wall doesn't generate money. It makes it slightly easier to keep out one of those who drain billions from health care and welfare systems each year. The fact that they pay 8 cents on a candy bar doesn't mean much. They can receive most benefits short of Social security. 60%+ of illegal households make use of these programs. So yes- I think the majority are walking around with SNAP cards. I don't think they're getting checks to go out and buy land rovers, but the fact remains that that's money going to them.
