Good example is HIV/aids...
"Most people who die from HIV/AIDS do not die from the virus itself but rather from these so-called "opportunistic infections," which take advantage of a weak immune system".
Having HIV is the root cause...you might "officially" die of pneumonia....but the cause of that was ultimately having HIV.

No, lives/living isn't the cause of death...that really makes no sense. Living is simply a intermediate phase caused by the reproduction process...you're not going to the root again.
Living only causes death if the being in question rapes and kills another life resulting in it's death...not it's own..unless it gets the death penalty. -

i needed to compensate for my lack of opportunity to argue irl.
people i interacts daily give up easily without much fights when i attempt to argue with them. some times threats of violence were also issued. -
