For the record: In all seriousness, though, I actually don't want the site to start banning people simply because a few people ask for it; nor should they be banned simply for being obnoxious assholes.

Essentially what happens is that his ban is removed and he immediately incurs another with posts consisting of the phrases you've identified where it's not relevant or appropriate. Usually, this takes place in my meat thread. I think he posts there more regularly than I do now, it's entirely possible I've converted him.

There's precedent, too. Zok swore he would never unban poast-bortem! in a million years. That nothing would ever persuade him to remove the ban. Zok even sent out a decree that he would be banned on sight. But after about a year of mediation I was able to negotiate an armistice between zok and every single user zok had permabanned. Zok agreed to lay off the bullshit, and the users agreed to cease retaliation. All were unbanned. Poast-bortem! continued to be a contributing member without further incident. Now, don't you just have to like the Totse spirit? It's the glue that holds us all together. It's never wrong. Don't fight it, because it's truth and justice and fairness all rolled into one.
