2019-01-04 at 3:13 AM UTCJesus christ, people in my house are paying 450 for rooms like this because their insurance covers half. I'm paying $850. I had no idea what rent was in this area. I can get a NICE studio for less than that, or a way bigger room with a private bathroom in a house for 850.
Luckily my rent was prorated the last 2 months. I'm moving out Monday if my insurance won't cover it. Fuck. -

It's a sober house, so apparently insurance sometimes pays for part of it. However, my insurance is from the state of Iowa (my mom's), so that may be why it isn't kicking in for me. I'll talk to the LL tomorrow. -
