At least I have the mental fortitude to live off the land when SHTF. it will be rough but I'm sure I will survive. I bet anything if you couldn't pay your bills you would go ask mom and dad if you could be a couch potato for a while. To live off the land you really can't be doing hard core drugs. especially if you're hiding in parks to live.
also I live by the Ocean. lots of fish. they're not easy to catch unless you have a deep sea pole and at least a dingy to get out a ways. and you have to know what beaches to fish because some have currents that will drag you out to Japan.
shitloads of deer. most people will just flip out and loot. I know a few places to build a fort and park my car with some kind of camouflage.
hopefully it doesn't happen but if it ever did hopefully it wont last 10 years like the last depression. -

Last closing bell was the worst since 2008. Yeah, we're getting there. I usually can pull in close to 200 bucks in 6-8 hours near Chri-stmas. this is the catch-up to store money away for January. not happening. I didn't even make 100 and left after 5 hours. after gas and towards tires.. I made maybe 13 bucks an hour today when I usually can make 25-30 during Chris-tmas. And no tips larger than 10 dollars. I got a 5 dollar fair and got 10 dollar tip. I got a few 5 dollar tips. I appreciate all of them. even dollars. but I got a few 50 dollar bills or a few 20s in the past Christmas weekends. I think it's showing in the economy. But I will appreciate anything given to me. . -
