The best person I've ever known put my talents to use, she inspired me to go back to college and use my mind. I learned earlier that she was utterly destroyed in 2018, and now she hardly resembles the star I once worshipped. She was the sister I chose and I am putting together a gift basket for this Christmas to let her know how I feel, since I believe that my reaching out would be meaningful to her. She has a small child and I'm terrible at understanding children, so I'm not sure what to include for him. Something for a curious one with intellectual parents who love him. Please respond with your ideas. I am stricken with grief for her terrible misfortune, and I'm not thinking clearly about the matter. Any advice would be appreciated.

Fun, nourishing, engaging, productive, developmentally aware; you get the idea.

Colouring book, crayons. Books from the kids section in a book shop. betabet and number fridge magnets. Sets of little animal figures, or dinosaurs. Or the old reliable, hookers and blow.

I was thinking more along the lines of an Etch-a-Sketch.

Maybe all of them, I've never found the time to ask.
