This thread is a roller-coaster ride of memories. Some times I wonder what if we somehow evolved into something better before the end times of Totse, it would be cool to have something like Totse now or at least the people that were in it. I miss having weird conversations and just spilling out random shit without being worried.
I know most of the people in the list. I would like to know what happened to oddballz194 and few other users.

I've seen 30 years worth of great users disappear without a trace. But I'm still here. The Last of the Mohicans.

1993. around Christmas or so. going into a computer store in Concord at Sunvalley Mall.
Babbages Computer store. some dude gave me a quarterly magazine. it was a dot matrix one. with totse and the 7 nodes in the center. full page. told me it's a local board.
me logging onto it and trying to figure out the telnet style BBS menu. clicking numbers to execute. then I found the game part. then UFO and Conspiracy.
everything that was on the dialup eventually war transferred to his BBS in 2000. and I joined when Clinton was still president at his newer BBS. I remember when GW Bush was elected. so I was on the BBS for maybe a year and a half of the dot com. but about 6 years on the dialup.
when it went global with the .com version.. the people started acting way different. the outsiders from other countries and local original users kind of melded together to form a new kind of crowed and new meme's and humor.
then the 9/11 manifesto started a huge flaming war with people making jokes. not knowing this shit was for real.
Fuck all of you all. So I left at the end of 2001. You all were the next wave of users. Zok was just a kid when he was on and told everyone I was the "King of all trolls" but most of the conversations with Zok was on IRC. which I still continued to go onto after getting kicked off from totse.com (the first)
