But my credit report still says I work there LOL.
I don't know how to update that info. -

You're a program snob.
Get over yourself, damn you. -

all 3 credit bureaus have a contact and dispute. tell them you think someone is using your social security (it might be some dude is using it who isn't American to pay taxes and work there?) -

I appreciate where you're coming from, but I know it's not fraud or anything. I just haven't updated them.
Also, I live in Canada.
We have two credit bureaus (as far as I know, at least): TransUnion and EquiFax.
They have some outdated info about my address and place of employment, but those things don't factor all that much into credit risk decisions. -

That's weird. Unless you havn't had a Job since then. I mean I would think they would have it up to date. and maybe one might have lagged but both?
that's why I figured what I did. -

Fair enough.
I essentially assumed the same.
It is strange seeing my address from 10 years ago and my job from 15 years ago on my credit profile.
They only update that stuff incidentally though. Unless they have a very good reason to update it, they don't.
It is actually really weird, but that's how the credit bureaus do it.
I suppose you could call in and let them know what's what, but I just don't care enough, quite frankly. -
