I used to think Flat Earthers were just being satirical and/or trolling
-
2018-12-07 at 7:46 PM UTCIf you've ever taken a plane you should know the earth is round. I mean you can literally see its curve.

Then lets change it to I can look at Jupiter through my telescope and over a period of hours observe the Galilean moons moving around it...so clearly not a stationary "pattern" and yet still millions of miles further than Ireland is...which I still can't see through the same telescope... -

How high do you have to be to see the curvature of the earth?
You should be able to detect it from an aeroplane at a cruising height of around 10,600 metres (35,000 feet), but you need a fairly wide field of view (ie 60 degrees) and a virtually cloud-free horizon.
Next idiot in line please... -

2018-12-07 at 8:38 PM UTCI dunno. But i made a point to look for the curvature last time I was on da plane. There was nobne.

Post a picture through the your telescope of these phony moons.
They're only Galilean in the sense that they're heretical, you'd be far better off looking down and praying. -
