    'bath salts' is usually an RC stimulant, I think A-PVP was the last/worst one
    
    fentanyl's a high-potency opioid, like morphine or heroin but active in the microgram range

    Most countries' foreign policy is embedded into their civil service structures, the US is no different. Fentanyl has been a major target for the international law enforcement community for years, and this deal would have been struck and closed no matter who was in office.
    
    So it's good it happened but it's not really much to do with Trump himself.

    What even is the 'deal'? The few articles I skimmed only referred to China 'scheduling' fentanyl - it was already illegal in China given how rarely any opioid is prescribed after the opium wars, so what did they actually do?
