I'm behind on my list, but so far I'm asking for an SSD hard drive that I can install on my 2011 MacBook, an index to Tolkien's History of Middle-Earth which is a standalone book used to reference others in its series, and an electric razor with extra length attachments because I like to cut my own hair.
For my evil sister, I'm buying a number of superficial trinkets that will amuse her for a week before getting hoarded with the rest of her precious junk. I'm considering a light therapy unit for Dad, even though he didn't ask for it, because he often complains of what I believe are symptoms of seasonal affective disorder. Together with my father and sister, we're getting Mom a vacuum cleaner for which the total cost baffles me. I'm glad my parents are civil around the holidays, despite their messy divorce years ago.

Nah, she'd get rid of it. I don't want her discarding my gift, my sister is a compulsive hoarder. The true harm of buying her what she wants is that she won't get rid of it and it will inevitably make her worse in spirit. One day, after I've destroyed her utterly, she'll go through her belongings and find reminders of her little brother and she won't be able to bring her self to throw them away.
