And the cretins brought the liter unit in just so they could increase the price and make it look less. So, they started way back, decades ago, at $0.25/liter, and you thought, hey, that's pretty low/cheap! But that's actually $0.925 per gallon. Almost a dollar a gallon. These slimebags were thinking wayyyy ahead of the game, even way back then. Switch from gallons to liters, and then soak the sheeple for everything they can get. It's all a matter of perception. There was no need whatsoever to switch to the metric system, except for their schemes and devices and greed.
