    there are a lot of bizarre reports and theories coming out of this (similar to the fires last year)...
    
    the most interesting thing I've heard is several people (from Paradise, apparently) claiming that they'd seen transformers atop power poles burst into flames as they were evacuating, long before the fire had reached the town. I haven't been able to find any photos or video though, so I have to assume they're unreliable.

    My prayers go out to all those affected. I read somewhere the fire has only burned 6% of its potential so far already so that's 94% left! Very scary
