2018-11-19 at 1:40 PM UTCWho in the fuck lives in Barrow, Alaska?
I live in British Columbia, and as soon as I get as north/east as the Okanagan, I feel like I've ventured into some kind of population void.
And don't get me started on Yukon, NWT, or Nunavut.
Like wtf? These are gigantic land masses but so underpopulated because they are cold and boring as fuck. -
2018-11-19 at 3:30 PM UTCYeah but Barrow, Alaska population: 0.

I legit considered homesteading in Northern BC before... But you gotta go WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY up there to get your free land, and it's only free if you stay there for a certain percentage of time out of the year.
You'd be isolated from literally everything though.
I could imagine a few NIS-types being into that, but not me.
