   I've seen the game repeat itself more than once in the forums?
   
   I have no problems talking about myself with others but I prefer looking them in the eyes as I speak to them.
   The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire!

   You're right that what's posted online can't be undone.
   
   But none of the things I mentioned are sources of any real shame for me.
   
   I suppose if it got out that I get high/drunk while at work from time to time, that could come back and bite me in the ass.
   
   But I do solid work and get serious results, so I doubt anyone would care anyway.

   I wasn't talking about 'shame'. If you have feelings that things you have done in your life are 'shameful' and may be used as weapons against you you can remedy that?
   
   Face your fears -- correct what shameful things you can -- don't permit others to make you become defensive should they use things they know about you against you. And do not attack them back with their own game plan. Laugh at them or walk away. There is no shame being associated with being smart?
