Yeah the music thing is a bit of a coincidence that keeps happening to me...one of my first job was for a Private air charter broker and I used to be the contact for Elton John whenever he wanted a private jet....well I dealt mostly with his woman Renee ..who he married in Australia and I got an invite to the wedding..but didn't go because it was in fucking Australia and I was like 16 or 17 at the time.
Then there was the job at Pall Mall house where all kinds of bands/actors etc came through because the dance studios were some of the best in Manchester for practicing so they were always occupied by whoever was in town.
And now my current job is also related to the music industry but can't really say much more about that because some nerd will track me down if I do. -

I am no one.. you can't surf the coat-tails of others because I once went to school with someone or knowing them because they're an old friend of brothers.. etc.
so 'name dropping" is kind of retarded. what's the point. All you can do is be happy their band took off or try and support them by promoting by proxy of word of mouth.. etc. keeping the image and buzz to represent your home area.
Like when I asked NARC to go take photos for an eBook I wanted to do on musicians :D and he said I was an Antiquated faggot or something.

yeah might have been, don't remember...that was filmed after I'd already left but before they made the changes to the building. I remember watching the movie and thinking "hang on..that's my building! I used to sit up there eating my lunch and dropping shit down off the roof on people" -

Operations manager for a company here in Houston, no not oil related.
Exwife #1 a Texas girl backpacking around Europe in 95...met her in a London pub when I was down there for something I don't remember what now...dated a couple of years long distance..lots of expensive flights and phone calls etc...she was originally going to move to the UK but that got complicated so I ended up coming here instead. -

Oh cool. nice. hope things are going well. Texas isn't a bad place. sometimes the Tex-a-tude is a bit much. good people and good food. steaks are insane there. huge cuts for not much money. go into a comfort food restaurant and they serve up take home size for the entire family. plate for 4 people.
I dig some of the Cowgirl types in Texas. big hip girls. not fat-smashing their waste should be much smaller then cowgirl hips.
