Schizophrenia is a disorder, and it is not 'caused by chemical imbalance' thats just pop science. There are genes we can look for, though its likely that schizophrenia is just a blanket term for many different causes of disorders with similar symptoms. Like many other disorders (like diabetes types.)
Homosexuality is a... thing, but there are markers and symptoms for it just like schizophrenia. It may not need to be treated whatsoever, but this idea that its just 'how you are' without any physical representation is ludicrous.
