Once you stop consuming caffeine for a good month, get the built up 'eine out of your system completely, and reset your tolerance, caffeine feels like jittery nervousness +slightly higher affinity for goal oriented activity. Once it begins to fall from its peak, it makes you feel more cracked out than any ither stimulant. Not in the intensity, but in the completely dried out, dehydrated nervous system that can't be rehydrated until the the eine wears off. It feels like your brain is dying slowly. It makes the muscles feel rusty and in dire need of replacement. The nerves in the head, shoulders, and spine, and tight, tense, and firing too quickly, leading to exceptional discomfort. The brain feels like it has been scortched in the hot sun all day, and is in an active drought, but is unable to absorb moisture.
Eine is the worst drug. Unfortunately, middle class coffee is almost never available in decaf, and when it is, it is a light or light/medium subpar coffee for the same price as exceptionally good coffee.
My rehab allowed smoking and provided caff coffee. People weren't drinking ir drugging, sure, but they were keeping their addiction live and ready to send one back to memory lane via smoke circles and coffee jerks. Nictotine and caffeine are addictive drugs, yet it is usually acceptable practice for addicts to pawn off their addicitions to other addictive drugs, albeit socially acceptable drugs.
When you remove all everything, you realize how caffeine makes you feel like crap, and is not necessary for one to promote wakefulness throughout the day.

all it does for me is give me a headache if I go cold-turkey.

Caffeine will someday be recognized as a very harmful drug and will most likely be banned and made mostly obscure ... but only if we get rid of the jedis first

I really need to get the caffeine outta my life, or at least my Diet Coke. I hate coffee.
One of the docs I was talking to said they’re discovering that caffeine isn’t as bad for you as it’s been made out to be. My problem is the aspartame. I’ve been using the Mio caffeinated water flavor drops, hey at least I’m drinking water.
