I plan on extracting ephedrine from some ephedrine HCl pills...
The instructions I'm looking at mention a need for methanol (among other things, of course).
Where exactly does one find straight up methanol? -

If you're in the US, any hardware store should have it

What they sell in stores will always be a solution. I've seen 5 and 10 percent, I believe you can even get 15%. Never seen higher than that tho.
