That may have been the weirdest thing I have ever read.
And I am no stranger to weird internet shit.
You may have actually successfully channeled schizophrenia.
I both applaud, and extend my sympathies, to you. -

I, too, get dysphoric and paranoid from weed. It is an incredibly unpleasant experience for me.
But all the drug plebs are like "weed just like, chills you out man. just take a toke and stop acting like it's a Real Drug TM, unlike all those chemicals you put in your body."
Fuck, for a bunch that claim to be so enlightened (because somehow weed makes you smarter than everyone else), they are pretty damn ignorant when it comes to the fact that different people react differently to different psychoactive compounds.
"Stoner Culture" is retarded in general. To each their own i guess though, but i'd much rather rail an oxy 80 than smoke a blunt. -

And I too say, to each their own. I don't judge people for smoking weed, but True Stoners TM are the gutter trash of the drug enthusiast community.
In terms of personal preference, I 100% get the oxy 80 over just about anything else.
Although, I used to have a full-blown, IV heroin addiction, so I have maintained an opiate-clean system for close to five years now.
But that's because that's what ended up working out best for me.
I don't judge opiate users, I don't just stimulant users, nor alcoholics, nor psychedelic/hallucinogen or dissociative users, and I don't even judge cannabis users for their preference in cannabis, but the self-important drug-supremacist stoners that look down on every other drug user; them, I can't fucking stand. -
2018-11-05 at 2:39 PM UTCthe word judge IRKS me. Judges IRK me even more so. I would like to shit on judgments may be made in this thread. Smear that shit all over...diarrhea most especially over the genitals and glued to the lips of those worthless donkeys so they always taste like shit

Even ditch weed sends me into a paranoid psychosis the likes of methamphetamine could never touch. Everybody I know says "oh you just smoked too much" or "you must have been on other drugs" but nope. That shit fucks me up worse than any other drug I've tried, with the POSSIBLE exception of MDPV
As sploo says,

Not to mention the fact that weed these days might as well be synthetic, with all the genetic engineering that goes on -

Oh yeah lol, MDPV is definitely worse in my experience. JESUS CHRIST. That was 3 months of absolute horror. -
2018-11-05 at 8:47 PM UTCYou need a tolerance to weed to enjoy it
Spice is different because a lot of the synthetics also partially bind to nmda or opiate receptors while being full aagonists of the cb1 receptor -
2018-11-05 at 8:56 PM UTCThe thing I don't like about weed is inhaling huge amounts of the most unpleasant rough smoke ever for a 4/10 intensity high. Makes me cough like a cancer

This is definitely the case for me, but I wouldn't be comfortable generalizing it like that.

You can get used to the harshness (I haven't really) but why would you put the high from pot on the same scale as a syncan? They're fundamentally alike, but experience-wise many users report them to be very different. -

2018-11-05 at 10:23 PM UTCI had such a great run with weed from 2013 - 2015 but here is the thing ... I had a safe and private environment to enjoy it in.
Back then I would still get unpleasant feelings and thoughts, such as a sense of dread and dysphoria that I couldn't point my finger to but it was there, which made me think "what the fuck is good at all about weed this is like being on a deliriant" and yes stoners are the biggest bullshitters out there but if you have something to focus on while high it can be a really cool experience.
I would do a couple gravity hits and after cleaning out my nose, drinking plenty of water and making sure I was still breathing I would play Final Fantasy XIV, CSS, Team Fortress or watch Yung Lean music videos (before cloud rap was mainstream) and the marijuana would enhance those games and experience.
Just like it can cause you to get OCD and focus on nothing but negative thoughts, if you focus your mind in something else it amplifies it thus video games became so much more immersive and intriguing.
I will say that my skills improved too since my entire perception was pin pointed to whatever I was doing in the immediate moment in the game.
Now that I'm living in the car though ... HELL FUCKING NO it is the most unpleasant thing ever I get extremely paranoid to the point of delusion and feel deathly dysphoric until it wears off.
The last few times I thought there were government crisis actors following me around trying to fuck with me and then I got all obsessed about thinking about mind control and mkultra.
Not to mention all the times I have been approached by the cops, fuck if they caught me with weed here that would be so fucking awful. -
2018-11-05 at 10:23 PM UTCDon't you live in a legal state?

2018-11-05 at 10:38 PM UTCAs for having a tolerance yeah.
Back in my stoner days the first sesh after a break would feel really overwhelming but after a few days it would wear down and then I could just enjoy the augmentation of consciousness rather than the mindfuck experience.
Btw dabbing wasn't that bad it was like doing hash except the last time I did it my legs wouldn't stop shaking and I thought I was being stalked by the government ... Like I went to the park where I would normally park the car and sleep and I saw two identical cars in the spot I would park in that were the same color.
It was really creepy I parked up the hill and stared at them for a moment ... Then this black car parks by the park entrance and this nigger gets out, then one of the cars I was talking about has a door in the rear passenger side open but no one comes out then I look back at the nigger and it's running toward my direction granted hr was pretty far away but it looked like he was holding a gun in his hand he was crouched and both holds close together as if to hold something.
Now I really at that moment thought somebody was trying to fuck with me or even kill me so I stormed out of there, granted I was incredibly high so maybe it was all in my mind and I was wrong.
Before that happened on 420 I was at the beach and this group went by that were obviously trying to freak out high people one of the guys rode by us on a bike with a box attached that had an arrow written in marker on it that was pointed to the word "you" as if he was sending me a message they were going to out my body in a box.
Maaan California fucking sucks.
It's an armpit and there is literally nowhere to go to just hang out privately plus the public restrooms don't have normal sinks or mirrors.
Oh and the place is infested with mexicans. -
2018-11-05 at 10:39 PM UTCOpiates and benzos don't do anything for me.
I was on a morphine IV then pills for a while and it was just like ... A mild glowy feeling.
I prefer to have my mind augmented. -

First time doing opiates is kind of meh for everyone from what i gather. It gets gradually better. Once you've been addicted to X or Y opiates, they'll be your favorite drug for forever, whether you kick the addiction or not. -

Can confirm.
Every other drug is merely a substitute at this point.
That being said, though, I 100% do not regret quitting opiates when I did.
It might seem a tad paradoxical, but one can truly love something while also abstaining from it entirely.
