Like with incest or pedophilia I can at least understand the logic for why it's socially rejected even if that logic may be flawed. But with the bestiality thing, we routinely subject animals to much much worse things than sex. Like getting fucked by a human would probably be a pleasant time for a pig relative to being slaughtered or spending a life confined in a small enough space that they couldn't turn around. In fact killing an animal for pleasure would probably actually be looked on more kindly than having sex with one. So why is it so repulsive to our society? Like the only thing I can think of is that it's been sufficiently socially harmful at some point for our society to evolve a taboo around it. Like dudes were fucking animals so much that women got upset about it, for the same reason that we have a lesser but still clearly extant taboo on prostitution. But that seems crazy, like no way enough dudes want to fuck animals that that would happen right?
