I think it's also used so kids who's parents go to work and have to let their young kids go to school early do in the dark during the end of October when the sun doesn't rise till 7:15 or so. The program that says someone watches them until class starts states they must be at School by 7am until their first class starts (usually 8-8:30?) -

It was 80 fucking degrees in parts of San Francisco tonight.

Its fucking 5 days into November. I hope you were out partying your youth up. Wish I had it.. I worked dropping the beautiful young 20 year-olds off going bar hopping this evening. I admit I was jealous of the youth.
San Francisco has grown into a real International looking city lit with LED panel lighting (replacing old school neon) from it's cold small town feel of the 1980s when I was younger. Everything was fucking dark.. the clubs were purposely lit and bathed in dingy light because it was "Sexy" .. most streetlights were busted or burned out. great for getting mugged.
San Francisco was a dirty ass city at one time -

I went out on Friday and felt kinda bad when taking the "rideshares". Like I'm going out to have fun and they have to work. Talked to one driver last week about music for the whole ride, we had similar interests, I asked him what the next performance he was going to see was and he was like "well I don't go out that often but I'm seeing so and so in December" and I was like damn, that's sad because I know there were acts he would have liked to see before then. I gave him a nice tip but that doesn't really do anything. But yeah, the class divide with rideshare drivers is kinda sad and awkward.San Francisco was a dirty ass city at one time

LOL No way nearly as much.. I mean, OK Headonism in the upper class devide with "Headonistic Parties" like the 1970s Key Parties. if that's dirty. yes. but the middle blue collar class in the older days and run down neighborhoods in the Hayes and Filmore (all fixed up now). Zibra-Channel killings. I mean it was believed to be the Zodiac who did it but blamed on Black Muslim Bakery guys out of Oakland.
curious what really went down with that Z-Channel thing.
it's visually dirty with the tent city population and the politicians are greedier than ever before. Chasing out small business in the Wharf district by jacking up the quarter perking meters to 25 cents for 3 minutes? So many private mom-n-pop business that could survive 40 years ago can no longer do so.
So yes, it's dirty, but in a slightly different way.
