This could make sense to me, if I believed love is an emotion ... I do not. I have deep deep love for many people. That love, no matter what is still inside me. The emotions associated with that love however, have changed or tempered over the years. But there is one common thread that exists with each of those relationships. If put in the position, I would give my life to save theirs. No matter how angry or hurt I may have felt, love overcomes all obsticals.
I have only hated 1 person in my entire life. I think people who have a high operating jealousy instinct tend to understand hate much more.
I can count on less than 1 hand that I felt jealousy. And I’m not sure if that was even what it was.
I have felt anger, fear, distrust, discust, and dislike many many times (billions I’m sure) ...
I have not felt joy, trust,serenity, acceptance, contentment, and happiness as much as those negative feelings.
Those are emotions / feelings I know should be more balanced. -
