Cold forged swords still need to be tempered to gain strength. Nice try though, Chinaman.

no. tempering takes away its elasticity.

Forging has nothing to do with tempering, Chinaman. Forging simply means how the metal is formed, not how it's treated.

Hopefully this discussion ends with an epic sword-fighting duel.

marx was too right. Take off the rose tinted shades and life just seems like a gigantic exercise in futility. 1-100 YEARS OF STUPID BULLSHIT, WITHOUT INHERENT VALUE, DEVOID OF MEANING AND NOT EXACLTY BENIGN EITHER FUCK YOU

I really need to kill myself, gotta stop putting off my inevitable death.

Quite the defeated mentality you have there.

Why bother with any of this? I didn't will myself into existence and enduring something I didn't choose is defeat in my eyes.

    Nil,
You could never make a single choice if you weren’t born. You’re the one in control of you, obviously no one else, just you.

Well you were saying that you didn’t will yourself to be in existence, that’s like choosing to be born, you can’t make that choice.

I can’t begin to say I comprehend how bad your life sucks, but you make the choices to let it; or find inner strength to make it better. I’m not trying to make it sound simple, I know it’s not.

People aren't genuinely free, and when they stop expecting to be free they are happier, as it's one less thing to be frustrated about.

I guess it’s all how you perceive it Soy. I feel free in my life. Sure I do what I have to do, make money, pay taxes, and eventually die. I do not feel like I am not free to do as I please within the law. The only thing I care to do outside the law is get high, and I do it. So I do feel free!

Exactly. it was an extremely selfish choice made by short-sighted narcissists who wanted a mini-me. [parents]

I trusted someone and engaged in hope. No more.

I think that’s what he meant be enduring a choice that wasn’t his.

Everything you just said about yourself could be said by a prisoner.

You, like all people, are like a little dog on a leash. You can amuse yourself within the bounds of that leash, but the guy who holds the other end (society) decides where you go.

You make your life what it is, not anyone else. You are totally in charge, so there can be no blame game. Yes, bad things happen, but so do good things.
