At this point it's basically a guarantee that anything shown on CNN is fake and/or misleading

This. And we could pin the blame on the left with 90% accuracy, because anybody on the right radical enough to do something like this is going to know how to make a proper bomb -

Yeah, right before the elections, and heavily promoted.
The political science term is "October Surprise". -

I'm thinking the October Surprise was yesterday -- when the folks at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue inadvertently leaked that the Secret Service was investigating a suspicious package at the White House mail room before hurridly retracting that "diversion" tacit of Trump's. (Guess he realized he didn't want to be connected with that type of press coverage.)

I voted Democrat and always have thus far, but this ABSOLUTELY seems orchestrated to me. The timing is too right, and nobody got hurt.
Not that I'm complaining about the outcome. This will be great come the 6th. Just wish it had happened October 2016 instead. -

Please stop. I have respect for you but it slowly erodes every time you make a post like this -

The bombs look kinda strange. Not how I would go about it.
Like why have a clock on a mail bomb? That's not going to work.
if that's a kitchen egg timer you could run the alarm peizo to some nichrome instead so that it heats up when the timer goes off
that said, how would they even know how long it'd take to be delivered? -

Harder said than done, you need to be able to use a transistor and an external battery to boost the current, and then you need something as a primer sensitive enough to go off for a bit of hot wire. But once you get it down, it's apparently easy to scale up production.
It would be so easy just to use a light dependent resistor instead of a clock. That way as soon as the package is opened and exposed to the light, boom, right in some intern's face.
I think Uncle Ted used mechanical switches on his toys. Luddite. -

or it could be some former tier-0 special forces guy who will never be caught unless they frame someone for it because soros and friends could afford the best. -

either this is a message or a false flag.
pipe bombs cease to be considered reliable back in the 80s.

Something similar used to be a popular trigger for IEDs in Iraq and Afghanistan (probably still is, I have no idea) - they'd get shitty old cell phones, wire nichrome (or probably just lightbulb filament knowing them) where the vibration motor used to be and run that through the primary. They'd then set the phone to silent and ring it when they wanted to see Uncle Hassan's van disappear.
Most phones run off a lithium cell (3.7-4.2v nominal) though and I don't see that little timer running on anything more than a 1.2v button cell. Not sure how much power it'd take to heat a small coil and I don't know where any is at the moment

lol yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking.
