wait so where does the legality end here. its obviously ok to have cameras in your house recording a babysitter or contractors or something. do they have to be notified or is it just because she was nude?

If you run naked through a public park I have the right to observe you...it's reasonable if you appear naked on MY property I still have a right to observe you. I don't have the right to observe you naked on your property though.

Did the home owner give specific permission for the house sitter to use the shower...if not she had no right to be using it...or the shitter.

I'd expect my wife to set up the cameras with me.

It's a fucked up world these days when you can even collect your own masturbatory material in your own home!

yet filming your guests having sex in your house is perfectly legal?

    talk about double standards, much.

A Helotes man who was caught on a hidden Nanny Cam video molesting a 5-year-old girl he was helping his wife babysit was sentenced Tuesday to 30 years in prison.

Vietnam combat medic Martin Kenneth Ewald, 61, tearfully described a recent suicide attempt and said that he, too, was a childhood victim of molestation as he asked state District Judge Melisa Skinner for mercy. Under a plea agreement reached in March, prosecutors agreed to seek no more than 30 years.

I don't have a problem with surveillance of ur own home. If u are having sex in someone else's home, that should be taken into consideration beforehand. But the bathroom seems extreme. I guess u could argue, what if the babysitter knew the only place in the house without cameras was the bathroom, what's to stop them from abusing the child there?

    Valid.
I think the most important things as individuals are personal responsibility & intent. If a camera is set up in the bathroom, have some decency about yourself & only "monitor" on a need be basis. (Not masturbatory material smh)

Most accidents happen in the home and a big majority of them happen in the bathroom (falls etc). It's reasonable to therefore want to monitor your bathroom in case family members fall in the shower/crack their head open or leave top deckers.

    28k? Seriously?

Putting aside the morality and legality of the situation, is that not an insanely high bond?

I know someone who went to jail for almost 250 pounds of precursors whose bond was less than that

Now that I think about it though, they were 4-MMC precursors, the stuff was probably still legal at the time
