I had a seizure lol

  1. #1
I quit taking T-PAIN about a week ago, but in the week of blackout drinking that followed, I apparently bought another 5g of it, among other things. I had been drinking a six pack a night at minimum for a few months

Last night I took my usual "let's get fucked up" dose of .5g, which was only moderately high by my standards, but didn't drink at all.

I laid down to go to sleep and had all these fucked up hallucinations that I assumed were hypnogogia, and heard a voice ask me "Do you really want to die?" I said, yeah, sure. Then it said "are you sure?" and I said "yes"

So then I had this sequence of hallucinations of letters being signed and shit like that, and I passed out.

I had a dream that I remember being really fucked up but can't quite remember, and at the end of it I was sitting in a chair on a laptop when suddenly I lost control of my body and had extremely violent uncontrollable shakes. The laptop screen came off in my hands and I woke up, still shaking for a couple seconds and then it stopped

Indistinct open eye hallucinations faded in and out for a few seconds, then disappeared. My eyes were all teared up, I couldn't focus my eyes or read very well for a few minutes, and I forgot everything I read instantly for a few minutes. I'm assuming this was a seizure. I got up to take a piss and it was the color of Monster. All the rest of the night my dreams were fucked up, but T-PAIN has always done that to me. REM rebound from cessation of alcohol probably made it worse though

My question is, could it have been caused by the T-PAIN? I realize my tolerance would've gone down but I didn't think it would be completely eliminated. Or was it more likely to be alcohol withdrawal and dehydration, with the T-PAIN possibly the thing that sent me over the threshold? I still don't feel quite right, maybe 90%.

My question is holy shit. I've always wondered what it would be like. God thst scares me line it could just happen. Until it does for me I'll just assume I'm fine but dang. Sorry juice. Maybe don't uh... I don't even know. I feel like if anyone deserves a random stroke or seizure it'd me. I keep wondering how it hasn't happened.

Like it's alwyas random for people. Sometimes my chest hurts randomly for one second and I'm like "fuck this is it" but it never is. :(

I've actually had a couple (or so people have said) but that's the first one I remember, and luckily I've been laying down for all of them. It's also the first one that I've had that hasn't been preceded by severe head trauma

To me, the scary part is, if I am prone to seizures, what happens if I get one while I'm driving or on the motorcycle or something?

I think it's just all the dumb shit I do involving drugs or alcohol, I've never had one sober

Well for whatever reason I'm taking LAMOTRIGENE which is apparently an anti sezisre drug but prescribed for mood stabilizing. I don't know. I don't take it for the the anti seizure cuz I've never had one but I take it. I'm now on buspirone too. Idk, they keep giving me anti seizure meds thouvh I've never had one. Regardless I've felt better this last week than I have in a long time.

Long story short I think old mq is coming back. Hope you faggots are ready. :)

also I might just die. Idk.

Forgot to add that before I laid down, I was sitting and reading the owners manual to another one of my drunken purchases, and was getting a lot of random numbness along with extreme paranoia and a sense of impending doom.

This, along with the "do you want to die" hallucinations makes me think it was just a mild case of DTs, but I didn't think i was drinking heavily enough to cause that. It was most likely just a combination of the three

I'm glad you're feeling better. I'm feeling better today but this last week has been bad, I feel like it's the closest I've been to suicide

I wouldn't worry too much about the seizures if you've never had one. You don't get scared of it until after its over. But you do worry about having another one.

I think I might get a beer because I'm starting to get the same weird feeling in my heart, sweating and numbness in my arm again

I either got a bad batch of T-PAIN or these are regular side effects of it that I just never noticed before

Or I'm just being paranoid, the dose I took tonight was much much lower

This better not become a regular occurrence

    Also,

I always wonder what this "aura" thing is people feel right before they have a seizure, not sure if it only happens in epileptics. But did you experience anything you'd call an aura?

I got mild hypnagogia. I get like Tetris effect and these weird states where i am almost falling asleep but i am just stuck in some sort of limbo and my body feels extremely heavy, and i perceive the world around me as dark colors and shapes that got like massive shimmer on them like you see hot asphalt do, you know?

Using drugs that fuck with my serotonin for a while then quitting them makes it WAY worse. Also i get the weirdest hallucinations when i am in this state of wakefulness while nodding(With certain opioids), i'll be not quite there and scenarios and people play out in my minds eye and i just can't seem to get what's going on exactly in these scenarios and what is going through the minds of the people who's faces i see flashing by.

It's the most bizarre thing. It's also interesting you're the only other person on the planet that i know of that has had hallucinations of out of key music, like i have on occasion. It's the eeriest, also, this seems to happen when i am severely sleep deprived. But not on stims. Stim hallucinations just make me paranoid and see shadow people if and when they do occur but they never make music sound out of key/tune.

Also, my friend has the most bizarre stim hallucinations. He starts to see dead people everywhere, like murdered horror movie style dead people. I'd make a joke about the movie Sixth Sense, but it's not that funny to go through i'd imagine lol.

I don't know if the hallucinations, numbness, paranoia and sense of impending doom were an aura, an effect of such a high dose of T-PAIN with low tolerance, or a mild case of DTs. It could've been an aura, but I don't think so, it seemed like it was too powerful to be an aura.

I didn't get the heavy body feeling, but I got everything else there. Except the colors and shapes were only in purple and grey. And i had the feeling like THEY WERE GOING TO GET ME but I've had that happen enough to know my brain was just fucking with me.

I got this the first few times I've used opioids, but now it only happens if I IV morphine.

I haven't heard of anyone else that gets the off-key music either, and it's extremely unnerving. It's like our brains know EXACTLY how to fuck with us when they want/need to.

I only had this a few times, as a kid, never as an adult. I think they call it "the unspeakable horrors" because it's usually difficult for the person experiencing it to describe what exactly is going on. Like the scene changes too quickly to really get a good look at any of it, you just know it's unpleasant. I think DietPiano talked about this happening to him a bit
