   Such a beautiful country, foreign and poor.
   
   I would love to drive there, and leave my car behind and fly home, but no idea if that is even feasible with the situation in the West Sahara etc.
   
   Surprisingly little about the area is known.
   
   The empty iron ore train from the coast to inland still seems to be running though. That works be an amazing experience.

   This is what I heard.
   
   Would be ideal. Load the old jalopie up with junk, drive through Europe and Morocco/West Sahara (I heard Morocco was taking over there), eventually sell the car for fairly ok money and fly home.
   
   Awesome adventure, if things go more or less to plan.
   
   Problems are things like carnots de paysage (car passports) etc.
