2018-09-21 at 9:36 AM UTCCompanies can use H1B visas to staff position at a cheaper salary.
The H-1B is a non-immigrant visa in the United States under the Immigration and Nationality Act, section 101(a)(15)(H). It allows U.S. employers to temporarily employ foreign workers in specialty occupations.
The H1B visa is a temporary or non-immigrant “specialty occupation” US visa, which means the holder is employed in a position that requires specialized skills or knowledge. Jobs that suit the H1B visa typically need a university degree or equivalent (which can mean 3 years’ work experience for each year that would normally be spent at university). -

it's more about acting tough on other countries (lately China, Iran and Russia) to make the US feel #1 again. He's hoping China will bend, but it seems highly unlikely considering the US has more to lose and their response to the latest sanctions is 'correct your mistake or there will be consequences'... -

Companies use H1B visas because there aren't enough skilled workers to keep the 'high tech' industries running. It's generally more expensive altogether for them to hire and emigrate foreign workers, but they have to because the US education system isn't producing enough. -

false.
anywhere that says immigrant workers are more expensive than americans is MINITRU propaganda. it is NOT more expensive to hire an immigrant. -

I'm talking specifically about highly skilled workers who are paid on par with local workers, but the company also has to go through the hassle and cost of actually bringing them into the country -

as i said. the entire purpose of immigrant workers is to replace american workers and pay them, overall, a lower rate.
that is a fact and debating it otherwise is an exercise in futility. -

chicken and egg. if americans are willing to get off their lazy ass and work there woukdnt be a need for immigrants in the first place. -

false.
in simplest terms, 'worker' wages are not keeping pace with the economic growth of the american economy.
even the most simple-minded retard can see that the 'normal' people of this country arent anywhere near making the same as they were pre-2009 yet the '1%' (aristocracy) are buying more ridiculousness since...ever. more million-dollar houses, personal jets, massive yachts, and absurd property sale-prices are going on and this is directly linked to workers losing pay and benefits.
the specific purpose of importing immigrants is to increase the profits for the aristocracy -

if immigrants can work for less than what americans are asking for, then it means americans are just asking for way too much.
because average americans, the 99%ters who could only do jobs the average 99%ters are able to do but wanted to be paid beyond their worth in terms of skill and productivity so that they can live the 1%ters lifestyle.
if you can only do a job that an immigrant can do for much less, then your worth as an employee is only as much as that immigrant and the 'fair' pay you should get is waht that immigrant is getting.
why should you get paid more than an immigrant for doing the same job that will require the same amount of calori to get done ?
why are you so special ? -

no, americans are asking for fair pay based on the exponential difference between worker income and aristocracy income. immigrants come from shitholes with zero infrastructure and even less expectation of civilization.
the immigrants do a worse job, for lower pay. the customer still pays the same amount for the final product/service...its the owner that pockets the difference at the expense of the american citizen. -

so american workers are living beyond their means.the immigrants do a worse job, for lower pay. the customer still pays the same amount for the final product/service…its the owner that pockets the difference at the expense of the american citizen.
excuses.
if customers have no problem whatsoever paying high for low quality work done then there simply isnt a reason to do a good, high quality job and emphasizing on high quality work is just a ruse and a gimmick to get more pay for quality that nobody asked for. -
