You do a job. What the fuck is it with healthcare workers wanting to pretend like they're some kind of saints as they bankrupt people and ruin lives?
Just because you don't handle the money personally... -

I am no saint by any stretch of the imagination, never will be. I don’t feel like I’m doing anything more special than a person that cares about people.
This is my station in life and I love it. I am rewarded every day by helping people that are at their worst. I feel humbled to be able to help others. I am humbled when they bring a suicide victim into the ER, and I have the opportunity to spend their last moments with them, when I know their family would rather be in my place.
Yup, healthcare is expensive. Do you think I don’t pay my fair share? -

This is like a millionaire bragging about giving the same money as a poor person to charity.
You are incredibly privileged position as a result of progressive credentalism. You have your job as a result of a piece of paper, not because you're the best.
Who pays more for health care, someone on minimum wage or you? I mean not in dollars, but in hours work.
You're just a nasty, rich vampire, feeding on the weak. -

Credentalism tends to overtrain people for positions, if anything. Correct me if I'm wrong, Technologist, but the formal training is more strenuous and burdensome than if someone were to learn how to be a tech by association. -

Wait, I thought I was a peasant! Will you please make up your mind?
Wish I could continue this banter with you now that you have resorted to name calling, but I have things to do in preparation for my vacation camping trip that starts tomorrow. Do ya know what I’ll be thinking about? Self indulgence, yup, not ashamed to admit it. This is my once a year to tie on a big ole buzz and bear my breasts! Gonna have a blast.
Gotta go get all my bags of money, go buy food, get my nails done, get my car worked on, and start packing. Have a nice evening😁 -

OMG,
They way overtaught us, but I was prepared for my registry. The physics I had to learn about broke my brain, but it did ok! The students did all the slave labor jobs that the technologists felt were beneath them. I refuse to do that to my students.
There are actually 2 types of x-ray techs. A technologist and a technician. A technician is a GXMO, a general x-ray machine operator, a technologist is an actual RT, radiologic technologist.
All the “stuff ya don’t use”, has helped me with teaching. I pull some shit out my brain that I thought I forgot after my registry. Technologists also have to maintain continuing education.
Gotta run. Getting ready for debauchery, bwahahaha! -

Tech is actually proud of this.
And the cost gets passed to the sick.
Hey Tech, think about who pays for your big brain next time you're pressing a button. -

Tech already is. She married one. Her choice. ;-)
Sure, you'll be dead by then, and won't exist in that world so it has no impact on you at all, but still… YOU GOTTA SPEND YOUR TIME ON THIS EARTH RIGHT NOW FREAKING OUT ABOUT IT! -

See, there's an actual event to discuss here. Like maybe I'm skeptical of your source or I'm not convinced this sort of posturing really is going to lead to a disastrous outcome, but at least we can discuss these things and examine what support there is or isn't for them. And then there's this kind of post:

Where there is no possible intelligent discussion that can follow. It's someone describing some fantasy they had claiming it's inevitable fact. It's jerking yourself off over how evil you think the gub is. I have no problem with doomsday scenarios per se, I have a problem with dystopia fanfic thrown out with no willingness to discuss or support the prediction. -
