I don’t know if this is an “old wives tale”, but I heard that a guy takes after his mother’s father, when it comes to their hair.
as far as im concerned there is a gene responsible for your hair loss/color/whatever and you inherit it from your mothers father. it's what i've read somewhere anyways

It’s in the X chromosome......men get their X chromosomes from their mothers........
Mom has XX. Dad has XY
Dad determines the sex of the child.....there are several “sex influenced” traits located on the female X chromosomes......they remain dormant until the production of testosterone begins at puberty......male pattern baldness is another one.....
This is why your mothers fathers hair is more of a predictor of your potential hair than your father or mother.......obviously your mother got her X from her father....or she’d be your father

[my p.a. supernal goa]
I knew a guy who was fully bald by 22 and he had no trouble meeting women whatsoever. This is mostly in your head, I promise, but if you really don't know how to deal, you may benefit from visiting a stylist who can make the best of the situation.
