Hate speech is free speech, do you think that letting the government decide what hate speech is and censoring that will stop people from hating? I fucking hate you canada cuck

to control social and political narratives by arbitrarily kicking people off the most widely used communications platforms of today.
Um are your thoughts "controlled" by what you watch on youtube and read on twitter???
Simply because you have a voice doesn't mean you are entitled to voice it on someone elses platform...you have to have a tiny IQ not to understand that simple logic. Free speech has shit to do with private corporations anyway!!
Random dummy: "oh I've got a bunch of crap to relate to people who don't even know I exist so I demand that you guys allow me to say it on your platform".
youtube/twitter: "Give me a fuckin break...go get your own soapbox and get the fuck off mine"
Boom! (as a faster than sound aircraft might say).

Major social media outlets have slowly but surely grown to control a huge amount of American discourse and are now exercising that power govern what people in our country are allowed to say, see and hear which is something I've been complaining about for years.
But I'm not going to pretend like Alex JonesThe Amazing Atheist is anything other than an unfunny clown just because he's been buttfucked by youtube along with god knows how many others.
Also if "internet freedom as we know it" is the right to upload our content to the servers of for profit companies and be unable to access distribution without the blessing of google/facebook/twitter then we fucking deserve to for it to end. It's wrong that we're being fucked like this but we brought it on ourselves by vesting these companies with atrocious business practices with nearly unlimited power over what we were pretending was some democratic and open medium.

Speak for yourself. I never vested any company with any power, the tyranny of the majority did that. Fuck democracy.

Fuck democracy indeed, it's a great example of how we aren't atomistic individuals and group behavior affects everyone, even those not engaged in that behavior. In this case Youtube operated in a fairly free market, established a quasi-monopoly, and because people freely chose to make minimal investments in maintaining competition or decentralizing the power of distribution we're now collectively screwed and it's nearly impossible for meaningful competition to enter the market.

Bit-Chute is doing pretty well, or so i hear. But you won't have the reach that YouTube provides. Not yet anyway. But as the YouTube thought police ramps up i am sure more people will flock to alternative platforms.
As it stands, YouTube as a company is pretty much hemorrhaging money. They lose more on upkeep than they make in revenue. Or so i hear.

Yeah, that's why there is no real competition for them. How do you compete in online video with someone who is willing to take a financial hit on each and every video they serve up? Not easily.
And there is no real free market either - Vimeo shitcanned Alex Jones too.

It's unsustainable, unless betabet is willing to keep on pumping money from their more successful ventures into YouTube to keep their virtual monopoly. Could be a smart move, in the long run now that i think about it, pay to control the new media, and you can use it to sell anything you want, and collect everyone's personal data while they're at it.
Back in the day Alex Jones had his own subscription site where you could download his documentaries, and he encouraged people to burn them to DVD to pass them around.
DVD players are kinda a thing of the past, so what do you do? You can't even samizdat now.
The internet has been turned into a series of platforms. They cannot just be unregulated, they have too much monopoly power.
BTW Stefan Molyneux is on two youtube strikes - one more and his whole channel gets shitcanned.

Gavin McGinnis' psyche is corrupted by his cuckholding by Shane Smith. The liberal bastard managed to obtain a ton of respect and acclaim, molding millenials psyche and got a billion dollar valuation.
Gavin lost badly and is clearly bitter about it. He's said in interviews he refuses to watch or read vice because it's like a bad relationship. He literally became an American and married a native woman. I used to read vice before they blew up and Gavin was instrumental in their success, however he was a whiny bitch without vision who lost out. He plays up his scottishness seemingly without a good idea of the current public Scottish identity.
Oh well God bless him, he's semi entertaining but a complete propaganda troll cucked a billion times by his former life he pretends he wants nothing to do with.
