People want to believe that there is someone that legitimately cares about their wellbeing, to feel worthy and cared for because there's always that small voice in the back of everyone's head that tells you that you're a worthless, vile piece of shit, and if you can find someone to tell you that it's ok, it soothes the anxiety and worry.

I currently live in Austin. And as much as I want to live in NY, Cali, Denver, Seattle, or Oregon.... I just think it’s cheaper here. And the people are nicer. You can’t meet hippies in a park and invite them back to smoke without getting robbed in bigger cities than Austin. So I should buy a house soon and travel. Maybe rent it and keep my super cheap apartment in a good area. -
