I wanted to say you were wrong. But then I read it all and it’s kinda right. My Dad was a wif. I figured out early on he’d do anything for me and nothing much for the rest of my family. But as a child I learned to only ask him for stuff that mattered. Because I didn’t want to exploit his kindness. I was an oddly precocious child with a strong moral code already.
But I may have learned some manipulation tactics from his wif-ish ways. And I didn’t get along with my mom, so I’m a little bad ass too. -
