especially if you're on linux. oh shit.. it seems like every imaginable USB driver existed at one point yet over time it seems someone had removed the last of many of them that existed. or they were never updated with the newer versions of Linux.
Im guessing sadly, the cloud wasn't created fast enough. the redundency of cloud servers would of kept this from ever happening.
good luck. -

It's windows 10 pro. I've had no problems till a couple of hours ago. It's not the Kindle and neither the usb cable. I tried on the desktop and it works perfectly. I tried everything I could think of. Updated drivers, update windows. Nada! I then disinstalled the driver and restarted the pc. NADA!
Is this thing legit by the way? I haven't downloaded anything, just made a scan for now.
I donwloaded it from here: https://www.driverscape.com/download/amazon-kindle-usb-device -

No, I always used it on my laptop. I have all the books there and Kindle for PC.
I was even using it tonight, transferred a couple of books when suddenly started to give me problems, then stopped completely. -

After I removed the driver nothing happened. So, I removed the device completely from the device manager and restarted the pc. It worked.
I still want to know if that Driver Toolkit is a legit program though. If someone from you guys know...ty.
And now I have to find a book that I can't find on amazon as electronic version. And the prices...Geezers.
Plus, there is only the 1st volume available. The other 5 volumes? Niet! WTF?! -

I heard Advance System Care is a decent product.
it's not much at frys or best buys. I don't think it's like AVG which apparently wikileaks said it's one of many products the NSA has backdoor to look at what you use on your computer.
ASC and check if the drivers are OK. it has a pro driver search and installs them properly for you. -
2018-07-30 at 5:42 AM UTCThank you S6, Ima check that now.
Do you happen to know the latest version? Is it 11.4.0.232?
Edit: Nevermind, that's not it. I think I found the latest released on 27/07
I see two though: Advanced Systemcare 11 and Advanced Systemcare 12Beta.
Which one is best? -
