then I came inside and paid my electric bill through June, I'm washing the fry pan to cook a steak for lunch.after that I'm going to watch sledding videos and watch a movie or 3, I may pickup my messy house later if I feel like being active -

2025-02-20 at 4:37 AM UTCI purchased a stove pipe brush and rods today so I can clean out my new stove pipe, I got tired of replacing it every 18 months so I got stainless steel double walled pipe and its been working real nice for sthe whole winter but in the last 2 weeks it seems not to be working very well so it must be time to clean it out, I used to just walk the old pipe with a ling metal pole and it would clean it out but it doesn't work with the double wall pipe

I learned recently you never cure or prep a new stove in the house or cabin. you have to do it outside because the burning coating inside will smell the walls up permanently on it's first burn. so you do it outside?
