it's a grab game. still is. all of the blood, sweat and tears to build up the large cities now being bought out by people from Asia and Russia and Arabia. displacing several hundred years of locals. by force of economic weakness on the victims part.
the only thing that keeps us locals from moving right now, is the tolerance of allowing former locals to live out of their cars or RVs. but probably not for long. they're now going to enforce a time limit. my guess is, if you're giving multiple tickets that your multiple offenses will get higher and higher fines and forcing you to just leave california all together. well guess were caifornians will go? Oregon, Washington, Texas, Nevada, Arizona.
it's kind of hard living out of a car in Oredon or Nevada or especially Arizona if you are just starting out. weather is way to harsh. -

It's easy to make fun of English cops for being pussies but that's mostly because we americans are just used to an amazingly brutal police force relative to the actual amount of civil unrest that goes on in our country. NZ cops are a lot like the brits, they wear the dorky outfits, they don't have guns. They're easier to laugh at but the idea of some kind routine interaction escalating to violence is almost unthinkable. You get pulled over in the states and it feels like you're about one misunderstanding away from getting a loaded gun stuffed in your face.
American police are kinda fucked, I'd trade them for brit police any day of the week. -
