   My father was very strict. He was known to knock us boys heads together to "get our attention". He was an ex Marine and took second in State wrestling. We used to argue a lot when I was a teenager. I can't remember if he ever told me he loved me. He never needed to for, even though we would disagree, I always knew deep down that he had my best interests at heart.
   
   When he passed I lost my best friend even while my "best friend" who I was best man for and was my best man twice can't come close.
   
   I hope things get better for you, Matt, or that you can step back and look at the situation differently.

    I doubt Matt's daddy issues have any bearings on his present mental condition...most likely his father is keeping distance because of them. Fantasizing about rape every week with restraining orders against Matt probably has no connections to his father and more so in not getting properly treated. Being a possible threat I'd worry more about the victims he could harm or the drugs he's taking or not taking. He even claimed to using Xanax and steroids...not a healthy combination. Only Matt can repair the relationship with his father and change his own direction. Seek help or create more depression and issues.
