What qualities will you require of your children?

   If a kid lives in an environment where one parent or even both parents are druggies, alcoholics, criminals, dysfunctional, unemployed or mentally ill chances are the child will have poor life skills leading into adulthood...in short better parents a better chance of succeeding. That's not to say great parents can't create bad kids...still odds are with better parents the kid will at least have a much better chance and follow a good path if rules are set. Lets face it a child seeing his mother having affairs every week will not grow up healthy and it will influence his or her beliefs. Same thing with extreme religion...the child can become brainwashed and be forced into radical beliefs.

   You speak only of children while you are attempting place blame on the parent for what/how the then child is now an adult.
   
   It's much simpler to accept your weaknesses and deal with them than to label someone (parents) as the 'problem' that made you the way you are.

   After the 60's and 70's radical feminisn destroyed the family unit, traditions, morality, beliefs and views on sex with limited control...in fact many kids lacked decent parents and it ruined society. If you're in a ghetto or rich gated community kids will still mimic adults and obviously we have extreme problems and poor leadership. If a population actually believes a president getting a BJ in the White House or raping women is normal don't ask why corruption is so high and as it trickles down you have the answer to why there is so much crime and illegals. Someone will have to take responsible for the mess they created and not to sympathize who hav children in prison and the street speading violence with no direction.
