you can use a lot of drugs without being addicted to them. i get high on anything i can because im a nut and i need extreme stimulation to not be almost emotionless/apathetic/indifferent. when im not getting high i feel fine just kinda bored. its about self control like narc said. drug use can be a life enhancer if you don't get yourself hooked on something. or even if you do, once you quit the saying that if you ever use a drug again you'll relapse and go into a downward spiral is just victim mentality. once you start getting cravings for something, or use too many days in a row, or your stash runs out, it's time to drop it for sober time or to switch to another drug

on the other hand, opiates are cuck drugs and only a bitch would let himself get addicted to something so lame
i gave an IV heroin addict some spice and he wanted to beat me up because he thought he was going to die. that's a real drug

I have heard that one should not attempt to detox on their own.
Seek a physicians advice.
An abuser must be weaned off the drug (s). Just stopping dome opioidwill cause user to suffer a possibly heart or stroke which can cclaim ones life.

Due to an illness which hospitalized me for upwards of 2 weeks I was place on opiods in hospital.
At discharge I had to permit Home Health come come to my home daily to monitor my weaning from prescribed opiids.
I'm only speaking as to what I know to be fact, not what I have read, heard another speak of, etc.

I think I've read about that, but it's schedule 1 here for some fucked up reason. It's the one that's both psychedelic and dissociative, right?
I've considered getting some from dnm in the past, but apparently it can be deadly if you have an allergy to it which is rare but there are reports of it

Yeah, it hasn't seen much actual lab testing, but has a long list of both glowing reviews and dire warnings. According to the reports I've read you're right, psychedelic and dissociative, but in the least fun way imaginable. Most of the reports talk about it feeling like your mind's being ripped apart for 12 hours or so, but that you feel like you've been rebooted or something afterwards, the 'reward circuits' in your brain being reset and not just in relation to drugs.
It also seems to have a high lethality rate though, which is why most groups that offer it as treatment have a long 'preparation' stage before you actually use the ibogaine... I think it's less to do with allergy and more to do with dire cross-effects with other drugs, foods and supplements.
