If you don't, basically a drowning person will instinctively claw and reach and pull at you to try and keep themselves above water, and in the process potentially drowning the both of you. That's the risk factor, and spec is right that ideally you do want to let them become unconscious before rescuing them.

Life isn't Baywatch. It's hard to rescue someone who is drowning, you've got to be confident in the water to even have a chance.

I have gotten far more conscious of how dangerous water can be when you panic. When you panic you tend to breathe out, and you instantly sink - not goid. You need great breath control for being in water, full lungs and shallow breaths.

Of course niggasin.water are nightmares cos they tend to sink. Niggers shouldn't even attempt to swim. Almost all lakes in Africa contain parasites, so maybe them not swimming was adaptive at one stage.

Its a classic problem for whites in Africa to go swimming to cool down and wind up wringing with schistosomiasis.
