2018-06-27 at 12:56 AM UTCI haven't bought a physical album in years (no good stores nearby anymore and mail order shipping is a headache) but I'm happy to pay $10-20 for a good album on bandcamp, especially since the bulk of it actually goes to the musician and you can listen to it before you pay

They will play like 30 shows in nearly every state and only do 1 per year in Canada, bullshit.

You might as well buy their albums if you enjoy it.
It's like a tip, you're thanking them for their service and time .. plus you'll have a neat looking album to display on a shelf.
Piracy feeds the toxic mindset that people are entitled to take whatever they want simple because it exists and that nothing should be unavailable to them.
There are swarms of pests who believe that no musician should be able to live off of their work, that they should just create music for music's sake (which I kind of agree to a certain extent).
The people who vilified Lars Ulrich for his stance on piracy and the efforts he took to crack down on the theft of his music should have been a bellringer for anyone who has any sense to them, that something was seriously going wrong with society.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

I'm a case whore, with both video games and music
I always listen to albums before I buy them, and if I like it I'll buy the physical album online, but if I only like a couple of songs I'll usually get them on Amazon mp3
Most of the music I listen to is very obscure so I like to buy albums or shirts to support the artists
