You stated that mma fighters aren’t legit. That’s bullshit. The op was directed generically at the average man. The average man can’t throw or defend a punch.
Me and my family have been involved in mma for 25 plus years. Most of the guys we get come from a wrestling background. We have had many state champion and district champion wrestlers. They are legit grapplers. They train 2-4 nights a week in boxing,muay Thai,grappling and jujitsu.
They are legit fighters and a hell of lot for the average guy to handle.
You’re full of shit on that. Whatever your background is,it is not reminiscent of the average populace. -

No she's not a lesbian and she is actually quite slim and fit. She just has the right attitude and is intelligent. Her regular classes are unique to say the least...very tough. Her favorite or specialty is Muay Thai and she only has 5 students for this one. In most street fights someone usually ends up on the ground or different individuals start attacking you. Knowing how to defend and fight in this position is a great asset and most MMA fighters lose on the mat. She's embarassed a lot of guys and I love watching her teach.

Yes, wrestlers are genuine "grapplers" In a scuffle, the first thing they try to do is get 'em to the ground. A boxer is no match once they've got em on the ground/ on their backs, imo. My Ex. coached wrestling & my youngest son was very good at it; however, that was his dad's passion- not his. -

In my opinion most ( not all or the top 10% ) of MMA fighters are not legit even if certified for the simple reason their clubs are propped up by BS and trainers have questionable backgrounds. Most clubs are also not top tier and and have serious injuries. If someone is trained for example in SKF from a registered temple in China it's a lot different than some putz in NY openning a studio declaring he's a champion. So an average MMA fighter would be better than an average man. But, that wasn't the question...OP said if your GF was bitch slapped by a MMA fighter would you hit back. I say yes...the individual has no real knowledge whether the attacker is an MMA fighter or not and an average man can also be a good street brawler whether he wins or loses. Just walking away is not a typical reaction and most don't. I guess if you are a total coward you would leave and the women will be beaten further. I assure you very few of the individuals you trained at state level will not win in real pro Asian competitions and why most fail. -

They have the pure sports and ones with the traditions. MMA to me is just like WWF...a good show with lots of BS and entertainment. Yes some fighters are great and most Asian fighters would have a hard time adapting only doing it for the money. Still it's like comparing US baseball to Japanese baseball...not my thing. Like European soccer to N A soccer...no comparison. The only thing I'm curious about is the new Bare Knuckle Fighting which may be interesting if it continues...yet it's getting a lot of bad leftist feed back and dates back to when patriotism was real. Ricco Rodriguez ( UFC ), Bobby Gunn and Joe Riggs ( Extreme Cage Fighting )...we'll see.
