To a MMA...not a Master skilled in defense and survival. Maybe at a distance and if the punk can actually shoot. Part of defense is trying to calm the situation and not escalate it. A violent thug in the MMA has probably less of a chance to survive than a Master in SKF and one who only knows how to attack in most cases. -

Visit Vietnam, Thailand and other nations in this area and you'll know what I mean. Martial Arts is part of their culture and history and why Americans did so poorly against them in the last few wars. Thugs also don't fight logically as a group needing a crew to back them and make massive errors in defense. Size isn't even a factor...in fact huge men can have numerous weak points and slow in combat. -

Zero skf or shaolin Kung fu masters have won any championships or made any money on the big stage. Zero.

When did I say it's a fighting style...mostly it's a mixed bag of techniques and individuals have no real specialties. Maybe only 10% do and are restricted by rules. Yes fake SKF masters have lost in MMA competitions...real Masters use it as a way of life and philosophy and have survived centuries fighting even strong red armies. Masters don't seek financial gain and yet there's no proof MMA fighters are better in terms of intelligence, bravery, endurance, mental status and body strength able to handle great pain. As I said MMA is a bastard sport to make money and I'm sure more than a few fighters end up snorting Coke with poor family ties. Same for the WWF and many boxers. -
