Also, nothing personal against anyone but bragging how much welfare you get isn't cool or anything. For one, providing services or goods to society is good. Having a quasi-socialist state handing out generous welfare payments is bad.

again though, compare the cost of living for where §m£ÂgØL is to the UK. as a general rule, unless you're in one of the top tax brackets, people in the US get paid significantly less but also pay a lot less for essentials like rent, food and guns

Around where I live, corporations are the worst welfare abusers around. They're already making billions a year for themselves, and yet they get literally hundreds of millions in free money from the government. And not just one corporation, hundreds of them, all sucking corporate welfare off the public tit. The welfare the people get around here is a literal drop in the bucket compared to what the government hands out willy-nilly for totally free to them.

I was going to point this out earlier but NARC is too degenerate to care. I worked hard to get to the position I'm in at my work and I'm proud of that. This last promotion is my third one in the 7 months I've been here. When I leave this job and people want to call my previous employer, they will tell them that I'm a hard, reliable, efficient worker who has never been late or missed a day. Because of my work ethic, I know that no matter where I work, or what field I work in, I will be climbing ladders and leading people.
I'd rather make less money and be proud of myself than make more money by leeching off the government and selling drugs like NARC does. Also, bragging about money is pretty pathetic no matter how much of it you have.

Well, whether you guys want to admit this or not, most of the depression here, suicidal tendencies, jail time, health problems, social issues, failed relationships, hate, etc., seems to have a very strong correlation to substance abuse...too bad because aside from Infinity most of you guys are pretty intelligent and straight up. Losers on DH were totally different, so I'm not criticizing or putting any of you down. You see many DHers were just malicious filled with evil by nature their whole life and yet you just seem to have experienced bad times struggling through. I guess this makes you better and I can assure I have no respect for many who used the other site. I think El has a good idea of what I'm talking about or the people I'm referring to.

If drugs become the focal point of your existence obviously it will have a negative impact on other areas of your life. But there have been plenty of people who used to post in our community who have since moved on to bigger and better things who did all sorts of drugs and still led successful lives. In fact I think the people who become addicts are prone to becoming addicts because of physical differences in their brain due to either genetic abnormalities or unfortunate childhood experiences. Check out the "rat park" study for more information on that idea.
