2018-06-07 at 1:49 PM UTCYou people do realize that by the time you bought all the acid, barrels, protective clothing, found a location, carried the body to the site, destroyed the evidence and everything else that needs to be done you already set up a nice little forensic profile. Unless you're a hitman your hit isn't random...you're connected to the corpse and person. Even serial killers have some connection to their victim and considering none of you are pros chances of getting caught are very high.
I found this hilarious.

2018-06-07 at 1:53 PM UTCIt’s almost impossible to kill someone and get away with it.
Everyone has cell phones and cameras are everywhere.
If you kill someone you know/have beef with, you’ll be a suspect. They’ll want a polygraph. You’ll fail or refuse. Making you prime. You’ll crack, fuck up. Best to have an alibi and have someone else do the hit.
Random is easier, but someone will see you eventually and you’ll get caught. -
2018-06-07 at 1:55 PM UTCThe Mafia find a bridge or building under construction and check for cement molds which haven't been filled yet, then they come that night and fill the mold with cement themselves and sink the body in it. In the morning, the workers just figured they must have already poured the cement and carry on as usual. 50 years later, the body is still in there, with 100 tons of structure on top of it.

2018-06-07 at 2:08 PM UTCThe Iceman Richard K the mob hitman murdered over 200 and basically was only caught because he started to brag about his methods to an under cover cop. Best hit...he dressed up like a tranny and did the kill in a busy Gay bar using a little cyanide. Looked like a heart attack and if done right PM's or forensic pathologists don't even look for poisonng. Takes too much time and cutting up the spinal cord usually gives poor results. So study the pros and get rid of our Ex properly.

When I look at what he did to the others, maybe I had it easier. Sure, he had fine-tuned his process. But I feel I was handled the most gently. His preference for Soilex was something that arose from the bubbled-to-the-surface wisdom his chemist father, Lionel, had imparted. By the time he got to that lair of inhumanity at 924 North 25th Street, Apartment 213, his assembly line process could be summed up by his own assessment, “The Soilex removes all the flesh, turns it into a jelly-like substance and it just rinses off. Then I laid the clean bones in a light bleach solution, left them there for a day and spread them out on either newspaper or cloth and let them dry for about a week in the bedroom.”

im pretty sure theyll know its a human when they see a skeleton in your drum.

.Biological washing powder contains enzymes are tiny, tiny organisms which break down fat and soft tissue. You add the powder to hot or warm water (not boiling water, see below) and leave bones in for usually a few days. It helps if the water is kept warm in this time. After you finish, rinse the bones really well other wise the enzymes will keep eating the bone. Then dry them using the method below.

2018-06-08 at 8:18 AM UTCdo you have any idea how long they take to work, concentrations, specific enzymes etc?
from the look of that excerpt it'll take several days to remove flesh from bones and will damage bones once they're picked clean, but no indication of how long it'd take to destroy them or even if complete breakdown is possible
