   I dunno, I figure that character was a hate-sink, ie. designed to make you so angry that you'd be too focused on hating her to consider how much you dislike less blatant things, like how they handled Lando's character and why they thought midgets would make effective infantry. Or why a ginger nigger represents the people of... Space Nigeria.
   
   I don't like Star Wars in general much because it's always seemed like a bait-and-switch to me - it's touted as science fiction but it's really just WWII stories in a light sci-fi setting with heavy moral posturing. An intergalactic spaceport with no surveillance or automated security, where the hero defeats the military police and their sniffer pigs by closing the door on them? I get why that would appeal to some people but I have a hard time taking it seriously.
