In summation, NIS has the advantages of a better admin (I admit that Lanny has really surprised meconpared to how I thought this site was going to turn out), no mods (although I don't mind good mods, this cuts out a lot of drama), vastly superior forum software. It is a locked and loaded gun, all it needs is either users with the same attitude, or some of our actually good vets.
The only advantage Zoklet had was that it was the direct successor to TOTSE. Zok took that ball, dropped it repeatedly for like 6 years, and obliterated the remaining community, then the community shit itself and fragmented a further 6 times, then we are here, trying to rebuild some sense of continuity.

He never cut back the trolling, his schtick was weird nonsequiturs that the drug addled user base loved, then eventually he grew too big for his britches, actually started arguing with people and stared making a fool out of himself.
