My dad used to play as semi-pro when young. My brother is another big football fan. So, I grew up watching football, whether I wanted or not. But I did fell in love with the game. And you know in Italy, there are so many tv channels about football. They do love to talk about it 24/7. LOL!
I'm glad that you're here though. So we can comment when Worlds start. This year I have no team (sigh). I'll probably go for an underdog or England. lol
I just don't want Germany to surpass us though with the titles.

I have Italians in my family. Infact a whole bunch of them. It was always interesting when we clashed. England has a good squad but they often do and never win anything. Belgium looks dangerous on paper and of course Spain.
